The COVID Support Specialist (Health) (CSS-H) will screen employees and visitors to the health center to determine if the employee or visitor meets health-related screening protocols. The CSS-H will provide administrative support to health center staff under the direction of Chief Quality Officer.
 Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform required COVID19 screening (i.e. temperature, health, and travel questions, etc.) to ensure compliance with applicable infection control guidance and protocol for employees and visitors of the health center.
- Notify employees and visitors who do not pass screening protocols that they may not enter the building.Â
- Report cases of positive and negative responses obtained during screening according to established protocols. Inform employees they must contact their immediate supervisor (or other designated authority) for further instructions.
- Â Perform sanitation duties on frequently-touched surfaces, strictly adhering to protocols regarding schedule and method.
- Â Perform office duties as directed, including greeting visitors, making and receiving phone calls, scheduling/registration, handling mail, filing, and completion of forms.
- Â Document activities, screenings, and other service encounter details within application(s) and/or electronic health record.
- Â Operate office machines including copiers, scanners, phone and voice mail systems, personal computers, and other standard office equipment.
- Â May be required to perform outreach to patients, clients, and members.
- Â Performs other related duties as assigned.
 Relationships and Authority:
This position has no supervisory duties.
Working Environment and Physical Demands:
This position is located in professional office environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma
- Experience in customer service or related work.
- Working knowledge of computer application programs such as Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and be insurable.
- Successfully pass drug and alcohol testing, motor vehicle, education, character, and criminal background checks.
- Able and willing to travel.
Preferred:
- 1 years' experience working in a office setting and/or health setting
 Preference will be given to Ponca Tribe of Nebraska members or members of a federally recognized tribe. However, all qualified individuals are eligible.
